Two academics with links to UWA have won one of the most coveted prizes in the scientific community: the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine. Professor Barry Marshall, in a bold move, drank a solution containing the bacteria Helicobacter Pylori to prove his and colleague Doctor Robin Warren's theory that stomach ulcers leading to gastric cancer were caused by the bacteria and not stress or poor diet. >>more

Amendment - Study At UWA 2007 undergraduate course booklet

As you read this the Study at UWA 2007 booklet is being delivered to high schools and into the hands of year 12 students all over the state. On page 63 of the Study at UWA 2007 booklet The Bachelor of Science (three-year degree) does not have a 2006 Minimum TER listed. This is an error and the 2006 Minimum TER should be listed as 82.00. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
