A combined course allows you to study two degrees at the same time.
Combined courses give you the flexibility of studying topics you may not be able to combine in a single degree. This is ideal if you have interests in two seemingly opposite subjects.
On the other hand, you may want to complement your main area of study with classes in a different area. This may open up more career opportunities.
UWA offers more than 50 combined courses from which to choose.
The structure of your course will be modified to accommodate two degrees and your study will be spread over a longer period. Usually you will study units from both degrees simultaneously, although depending on which combination you choose, you may complete one degree before the other.
