For more information, see the UWA School of Music website.
All students applying to study music at UWA are auditioned.
The auditions are held in December each year, and give you an opportunity to showcase your talent.
You'll be asked to play three contrasting pieces, followed by a few aural tests.
Afterwards, members of the audition panel will ask you about your future plans for music study.
If you are applying to enter the professional music courses:
You'll be expected to have a performance level equivalent to at least Australian Music Examinations Board (AMEB) Grade 7 and AMEB theory of around Grade 5.
