Further information

You are eligible to enter a UWA undergraduate program as an international student if you have:

  1. successfully completed a recognised high school matriculation program or have undertaken tertiary studies which are equivalent to university
  2. achieved the required entry score
  3. completed the required prerequisite subjects, (music and undergraduate medicine and dentistry also have some additional requirements)
  4. met the University's English language requirements.

International qualifications

Future students may satisfy the requirements for direct entry by successfully completing an approved high school qualification or polytechnic diploma, such as one of the programs listed below.

UWA will consider programs not listed here on an individual basis.

GCE or Cambridge Advanced Level Examination

STPM Examination (Malaysia)

Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination

International Baccalaureate

All India Senior School Certificate

Canadian Matriculation

Chinese Unified Examination (Malaysia)

German Abitur

Norwegian Vitnemål

Approved polytechnic diplomas

Approved foundation programs, including: the UWA Foundation program or the WA Universities Foundation program through Canning College, Murdoch College or Tuart College.
