If exceptional circumstances have prevented you from getting the results you feel you are capable of, you may be able to lodge a request for special consideration for admission to UWA.
The Appeals Group of the University's Admissions Committee considers cases where exceptional circumstances (not covered by the Curriculum Council's Sickness and Misadventure policy) have hindered your performance in the qualifications that form the basis of an application.
You should lodge a request for special consideration if you are not eligible to apply under the UWay scheme or if you have missed the UWay application deadline.
You must provide extensive documentary evidence to support your claim for special consideration.
A request for special consideration may be submitted following the process below:
Provide appropriate documentary evidence to support your claim for special consideration.
If your claim is based on illness, or another medical condition, you will need to download this medical evidence form. Your medical professional must support your claim by completing and signing the medical evidence form.
Your completed form and supporting documents should then be submitted to the Executive Officer (Admissions Committee).
