Access UWA is a program run by UWA Extension which enables you to study units without being enrolled as a UWA student.

An upfront tuition fee is payable for each unit studied.

When you have successfully completed a minimum of 24 points of Access units (one full-time semester) you are eligible to compete for a place at UWA through the University's normal admissions process, based on your results. Entry through this pathway is very competitive.

Studying a minimum of 24 points through Access will make you eligible for consideration, but it does not guarantee selection.

As you may not have covered prerequisite subjects or demonstrated English Language Competence through Access study, you are advised to contact the Admissions Centre before enrolling through Access UWA.

If you are admitted to the University based on your performance in Access units, a maximum of 24 points of study can be credited to your UWA academic record.
