Science Global Research Showcase

We are collaborating with global partners on breakthrough projects that redefine the boundaries of scientific knowledge.

We’re making discoveries of global significance across the research spectrum, from astronomy to zoology.

UWA is committed to recruiting, retaining and developing high-quality researchers.

A graduate research degree provides a unique opportunity to explore an area of personal interest, and involves a project of supervised but independent enquiry at an advanced level, resulting in the submission of a research thesis (or equivalent production) to be examined by experts in the field.

The focus is on your capacity for innovative, independent research, critical thinking, time management, project management and problem-solving. You will also develop excellent organisation and communication skills that are in high demand by employers.
