Graduate Diploma courses

Further Information

Looking up at Winthrop Hall

Graduate Diplomas are generally designed for specific vocational purposes.

These are either:

  1. the broadening of skills and knowledge already gained in an undergraduate program; or
  2. vocational skills and knowledge in a new professional area.

They typically follow a bachelor's degree.

Graduate Diploma courses may be a part of a continuum of studies in a specific subject area (an articulated course), offering a student progression from a Graduate Certificate to a Graduate Diploma and/or from a Graduate Diploma to a Master's Degree by coursework.

Admission requirements

As a rule, the following minimum admission requirements apply:

  • A small number of Graduate Diplomas require one semester of full-time study and two semesters of part-time study within an overall time limit of two years.
